About Us

Amanda has spent 20 years as a licensed clinical professional counselor - and nearly as long being a person her colleagues turn to when their billing and business systems aren’t working.

Many therapists are excellent clinicians and reluctant business owners. From her very first job at an agency, Amanda was drawn to the operations side of the work - she loves to dig in to a problem and the satisfaction of solving a puzzle. While she built a career as a therapist, she also became fluent in the language of systems and revenue cycles, eventually running the billing and operations as owner of a mid-sized group practice herself.

Rebecca Ramirez

Billing Specialist

Rebecca joined Perennial Practice Services in 2024 after learning behavioral health medical billing. With a natural eye for detail and an attentive, communicative style, she took to the work quickly and hasn’t looked back!

What she loves most about the work is the sense that she's a small but essential piece of a much bigger picture: helping clients access the mental health care they need, while giving clinicians one less thing to worry about. She also loves that she can do this work from home, all while keeping up with her four busy kiddos.

Why Us

We’ve been on both the clinical and operations side of mental health practices. Then we built a billing service around doing it better.

Clinical Background

We’ve sat in the therapist’s chair. Our founder is a therapist with 20 years in the field. We understand your work, your clients, and the unique pressures of running a practice.

Operations Experience

We’ve run practices, not just billed for them. From solo to a group practice, we've managed the full operational picture — hiring, workflows, and the many day to day business decisions that keep a practice running.

Behavioral Health Expertise

We are specialists, not generalists. Behavioral health billing has its own codes, payer rules, and pitfalls — from session-based coding to telehealth modifiers. This is the only kind of billing we do and we’ve gotten pretty good at it.
